Trying to crosspost to Dreamwidth. For right now, I'm at LJ until this is solved.
Damn it.

Folks, I'm not able to crosspost to Dreamwidth. I've been trying. It's not working. I'm not on Dreamwidth yet.

This is where I'm posting.

Not Dreamwidth.

Why?

Because Dreamwidth crossposting is not working for me. [Insert much cussing.]

Dreamwidth won't let me crosspost to Journalfen. When I crosspost from Seamagic to Dreamwidth, I get timeout errors.

I just lost a long happy post that I attempted to crosspost via Seamagic to Dreamwidth. It timed out. Since I was logging in at Dreamwidth via Seamagic, I lost the whole thing. It didn't post anywhere. Arrgh! [Insert keyboard mash of fury.]

Those of you who think you can read me at Dreamwidth -- you can't.

journalfen failed for me as well, but I was posting from DW to IJ from the interface--the IJ worked, though!

huh. I've never used semagic to crosspost. maybe I should give that a whirl.

Yeah, there seem to issues crossposting to JF. I know JF is using an older variation of the LJ code.

Apparently you need a paid account to crosspost to more than one journal from DW at any rate. Semagic has worked really well for crossposting elsewhere.

I assume DW will resolve all the time out errors I ran into in the process. I was extra-bummed yesterday because I lost a post (with links, argh) to DW's time out errors.
